ABOUT CHEF JOSEPH
After graduating from the National Culinary Apprenticeship, I continued working at resorts in San Diego, California. I then honed my skills at restaurants and hotels in Colorado, Nassau Bahamas, New York and Florida. I owned and operated my own restaurant as Executive Chef and proprietor in upstate New York for many years. Along with fine dining, my restaurant did full service catering, private functions including food and wine dinners, and local charitable events. In the years to follow, I went on to work as Food and Beverage Director and Executive Chef at multiple resort areas.
My career has spanned over 20 years and includes expertise in classical French, Italian and American eclectic, along with exposure to a broad range of other cuisines. I have been servicing the Sarasota, Venice and surrounding areas as a successful personal chef for the past two years.
I am a proud member of the APCA, and am a NRA certified food handler, along with being fully insured and state certified.
